The newly released AAC Compendium offers an overview over the central themes of AAC. Alongside theoretical initial positions, it fully differentiates various realms of speech development and AAC, diagnosis in AAC, intervention and participation, literacy, supply structures and quality assurance, as well as research and evaluation, based on the current state of research.
